　英語部です。

昨日７月１９日は、今学期最後の英語部部、活動の日でした。

また、本校ALTのドニー先生の部活動最後の日ということで、送別会を行いました。

一緒に、ゲームをしたり、英語の音楽を聴いて歌詞を埋めていく活動、日本の音楽、海外の音楽ミックスのイントロドンをしたりして、楽しい時間を過ごしました。

部活動の終わりには、部員全員から、色紙のプレゼント。ドニー先生、とてもうれしそうでした。

以下、ドニー先生からのあいさつです。

What’s up!

My name is Donnie and I have been one of the English club advisors for the past 6 years. When I first started taking care of English club, there were only 9 members. In my second year, there were only 3 members. From my third year on, English club members have increased and now there are over 50 members. It is amazing to see! English club is a great place if you don’t want to join a sports club and if you want to relax while doing club activities. You can enjoy playing English games, watching movies in English with Japanese subtitles, enjoying special events like Halloween and Christmas, and enjoying a relaxing one hour with your friends. The goal of English club is for the students to enjoy learning English in a fun setting so it is quite different from your normal English classes. We meet up once a week on a Wednesday so you have plenty of time throughout the week to do the things you like. I’ve enjoyed speaking to all my members and getting to know them throughout the years. Seeing them grow from their first year until graduation has been very rewarding. It has been my absolute pleasure to be a part of not only English club, but also Seifu High School. If any junior high school students are interested in English club, please give this club a try! Thank you for the past 6 years!
