環境緑地科「未来を創る高校生地域連携・協働推進事業講演会」を実施しました

令和５年１０月２７日（金）、環境緑地科１・２年生は「未来を創る高校生地域連携・協働推進事業講演会」を実施しました。
宇都宮大学農学部森林科学科・教授 大久保 達弘 様から、『栃木の里山・奥山の森林と利用について学ぼう』テーマで講話していただきました。
講話内容：• ⾥⼭林の⽣態的位置づけ
• 栃⽊の奥⼭の森林利⽤の変遷と現状
• 栃⽊の⾥⼭の伝統的森林利⽤の変遷と現状
• 栃⽊の⾥⼭林の未来
“なぜ「里山」が注目されるのか？”の背景として、都市住民の関心と地域からの内発的対応、人口減少社会での都市人口集中と過疎化進行、里山の否定から回帰、故郷の原風景や心の故郷など精神・文化的価値の消失への危機感となっている。しかし、現実の里山は崩壊寸前、農林漁業の衰退（生業的側面）、土地開発による消失、野生鳥獣害・自然災害リスク増加、現状をよしとしないが将来像も描きにくい等の説明がありました。今後の取組として、都市と里山の交流、外部からの里山生態系利用と地域への利益配分、生物多様性や生態系保全面から里山が再評価されてきている等の説明もありました。参加した生徒たちは、自分の生活に照らし合わせながら興味関心をもって講話を伺っていました。
