造園日和 秋への移ろい

環境緑地科 造園部門の今をお届けします！
11月の学校祭 農産物販売に向けて造園部では、ただいま苔玉を製作中！学校にて栽培しているサツキツツジとナンテンの苗木を使用し、2年生3年生それぞれに製作を行いました。実習中には『愛着が湧いてきたから自分で育ててみたいなぁ』などの声も聞こえました。樹木や苔の生育を考え約2か月間養生します。学校祭当日は苔玉製作体験も計画中です。
本校庭園の片隅にヒガンバナがひっそりと咲いていました。別名 曼珠沙華（マンジュシャゲ）。日中の暑さはまだ厳しいですが、季節の花に秋への移ろいを感じました。
