第１回全国和牛ハイスクールサミットINこばやし

10月２～４日に宮崎県小林市で開催された、「全国和牛ハイスクールサミット」へ畜産同好会の生徒2名が参加しました。
この大会は、若者に和牛生産の夢や畜産経営の特徴・魅力を発見してもらう狙いで開かれ、全国から３０校の農業高校生約４００名が参加。本校は2年前の宮城全共（和牛の全国大会）へ出場している経緯から招待されました。
シンポジウムで肉牛農家の話を聞いたり、宮崎県畜産共進会の視察をしたりしました。高校生同士のグループディスカッションや仲間作りの交流会も行われ、全国の牛好きな高校生とつながることができました。最終日には、宮崎大学の先生から肉質診断についての講義を受け大変勉強になりました。さすが和牛の先進地宮崎県だなと痛感した3日間となりました。
