環境緑地科１年 製材から発電、農業への利用における川場村施設の見学会

令和５年１０月１３日（金）、環境緑地科１年生は「農業教育高度化事業」（若者の就農意欲を喚起するための活動）において、”製材から発電、農業への利用および農産物流通における川場村施設の見学会”を実施しました。
今回の目的は、①群馬県川場村の農業（川場村コシヒカリ「雪ほたか」）について講話や見学をとおして学習すること、②地域資源を活用し、製材・発電・農業の３つの柱で新たな価値を創出するウッドビレジ川場の施設を見学し、木材の循環型利用について学習すること、③農産物の生産・加工・販売をおこなう田園プラザ川場を見学し、農林業の６次産業についても学習すること、以上の３点となります。
参加した生徒たちは、米農家の小林さんから”米作りのやりがい・楽しさや苦労”のお話を伺いました。川場村施設では、地域資源の活用を肌で感じることができました。ご説明して頂いた外山村長さんをはじめ、関係者の皆様、ご丁寧な対応ありがとうございました。大変、勉強になりました。今後の学習活動に活かしていきたいと思います。
