Ski superstar Mikaela Shiffrin won the first slalom race of the World Cup season on Saturday in Levi to lay down a marker ahead of February's Winter Olympics. The American was badly hit by injury last season and failed to even win the discipline title despite dominating slalom for over a decade. But the 30-year-old showed in Finland that she is back to her best as she racked up her record-extending 102nd World Cup victory with a combined time of 1 minute 48.92 seconds from two runs.
