朝鮮人参の種まき

環境緑地科３年生５名で総合実習の授業で朝鮮人参の種３０粒をまきました。鹿沼の板荷という地域では、江戸時代に御用作物としてお種人参と呼び、栽培されていました。こうした地域にある資源を掘り出し、研究をしていく予定です。なお、今後は後輩が人参の栽培管理をしていく予定です。

ボランティア活動

ボランティア部とボランティア委員による緑化活動と落ち葉さらいの実施
ボランティア部を中心に草花の装飾活動を行いました。未来の職業人育成事業で教えて頂いた技術を存分に発揮することができました。
校外の活動が自粛されているため、今年度はボランティア委員を中心として校内の落ち葉さらいを行いました。校内には見本の樹木等がたくさんあるため、作業後はとても綺麗になりました。

イチゴが赤くなりました

食料生産科の野菜の授業で水耕栽培しているイチゴが赤くなりました。品種はスカイベリーととちおとめです。収穫の実習が楽しみです。
牛が生まれました

丑年が始まりました。本校でも１月７日、９日に牛が相次いで生まれました。
寒い日が続くため、牛にジャンバーを着させて防寒対策をしています。
