刈払い機実習をおこないました【環境緑地科１年】

９月３日（火）に、環境緑地科１年の「農業と環境」の授業で刈払い機の実習をおこないました。
７月下旬に刈払い機の講習を受講していたため、再度、取扱い方について説明しました。
そのあと、校内の圃場で２グループに分かれて刈払い機の取り扱い方をおこないました。その際、雑草の成長の違いを比較するため、刈り取る高さを変えてみました。
今後、成長の違いについて調査し、雑草の成長について学習していければと思います。
さつき振興研究発表を開催しました

８月２９日（木）本校にて、さつきの調査研究発表会を開催しました。
当日は、松井鹿沼市長をはじめ、鹿沼市役所の方々、鹿沼市さつきの会のメンバーの方々にもお越しいただき、本校で調査研究しているさつきの研究内容を説明しました。また、本校のさつきハウスも見学していただき、本校が取り組みさつきの現状について説明しました。
松井市長から激励の言葉をいただくとともに、「鹿沼のさつきのPRに繋がる」とお褒めの言葉をいただきました。
今後も鹿沼のさつきの魅力を発信していくとともに、地域振興に努めていきたいです。
