３本ポプラお別れ会

白楊高校の３本ポプラのお別れ会が行われました。
昭和２８年に植えられた３本ポプラは、今年で５９年目を迎えました。
しかし、数年前から根元に大きなうろ（穴）ができ、時々枝が風で折れることがありました。
この度、樹木医に診察していただいたところ、幹の内部に空洞があり
いつ倒れても不思議でないという診断結果を受けました。
残念ですが、安全を考慮して伐採を２９日にすることにしました。
それに先駆けて、３本ポプラのお別れ会が４月２８日に開かれました。
お別れ会には、校長先生や同窓会長はじめとする白楊高校に縁のある方々が参列してくださいました。
