3月26日（土）～27日（日）に「第11回HPDUパーラメンタリーディベート全国大会」がオンラインで開催され、本県からは、予選を勝ち抜いた宇都宮高校・宇都宮東高校・宇都宮女子高校の3校が栃木県代表として参加いたしました。

結果は見事に宇都宮高校が5位入賞となりましたので報告します。

今大会は、パーラメンタリー英語ディベート大会としては、日本で最高峰に位置付けられており、全国の予選を勝ち抜いた生徒が集う、非常にレベルの高い大会です。

今年で11回目を数え、全国から44校が集結し、即興型で世界大会に準じたディベート形式で英語の実践的コミュニケーション能力を競い合いました。

また、今年も昨年と同様、コロナウイルスの影響を鑑み、各選手の家庭で行われるオンラインディベート大会となりました。

★予選（4戦）結果

宇都宮高校          3勝1敗　6位で予選通過！
→決勝トーナメントで惜しくも市立浦和に負けてしまったが、堂々の5位入賞 !!!
宇都宮東高校　   2勝2敗　25位
宇都宮女子高校   2勝2敗    29位

その他個人賞で7th Best Speaker 宇高1名、Performance Awardで宇高1名。
