畜産の出前授業

スマートフォンに養牛カメラのアプリを接続することで、遠隔地においても容易に牛の発情周期や出産の様子などを観察することができます。今回、そのアプリを活用した畜産の出前授業を日光市立湯西川中学校で実施しました。牛の説明やこのアプリを活用したリモート授業を展開していくと、中学生から多くの質問もあり、その質問に対して高校生が熱心に答えていました。

食料生産科 畜産部
畜産部門で飼育しているホルスタインをラウンダーで調教します。もちろん、畜舎からラウンダーまで牛を移動させるのも生徒達が行います。
また、フォークリフト運転免許の資格を取得した生徒は、先生の指導のもと、フォークリフトを安全に運転し、牧草を運搬しています。

コシヒカリ（うるち米）、ヒメノモチ（もち米）が今年の天候不順にもかかわらず、例年並みに収量することができました。
味は生徒の表情を見ればおわかりいただけるはずです。もち米は販売可能ですので、お気軽に、お電話でお問い合わせください。

きゅうろうの格付け決定する

きゅろうの肉質をみるため、畜産公社に行って来ました。いよいよ枝肉となったきゅうろうと対面すると格付けＢ２という評価を頂きました。きゅうろうのお肉は生徒のみなさんに配布しますので楽しみに待っていて下さい。お肉は３５２ｋｇほどになりました。
牛の調教

ホルスタイン共進会の出場に向けて、２頭の牛の調教を始めました。2頭ともまだまだ上手に歩くことができません。時間をかけて歩けるように練習をさせたいです。
