鹿沼ひざつきフルーツプラザ様の見学

６月１１日月曜日に鹿沼フルーツプラザ様にて果樹栽培における観光農園のあり方と課題について食料生産科３年果樹選択生にお話いただきました。
こちらではリンゴ・モモ・ブドウ・イチゴ・オウトウの栽培をされていて、年間を通じ関東近郊より多くの方が来園されています。今回は県内では１０数件しか栽培されていないオウトウの研修をさせていただきました。
通常オウトウは摘果を行い果実の肥大を図るものですが、観光農園ではあえて摘果を行わず着果数を確保し結果枝毎更新をすると教えていただきました。
今後は市場人気の高い果樹についても学び、見識を広げて技術を発展させていきたいと思います。
